Kim and Dan have collaborated on numerous community projects throughout the years and are proud of their impressive track record. They have made significant contributions to local schools as well as various nonprofits, including LEF, Cary Library, the Museum of Science, and the Greater Boston Food Bank. While they were collaborating on running non-profits, Kim and Dan realized that another thing they had in common was they had both been overseeing business and personal construction projects for most of their adult lives.

In 2022, they began exploring larger joint ventures. During this process, they realized that many of the high-quality vendors they had worked with were experiencing a slowdown and seeking more work. This realization sparked an idea. They could assist busy families in completing their projects, keep their vendor acquaintances busy with exceptional work, and fuel their passion for productivity.

Kim Goldinger

Kim grew up in Florida but came up to New England where she earned her MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and went on to work for over 10 Years in Cellular Business Development.

After having her family she changed her path and began working with an organic farm, installing the largest residential solar array in Eastern MA. She also personally installed the first solar panels in the Madre de Dios region of Peru. She has taught as an adjunct Professor at Tufts and created a campaign that raised over $5 Million for the Greater Boston Food Bank

Before her collaboration with Dan she most recently finished a total renovation of a 1920’s 2-family property in Arlington to double the size of the dwelling to develop it into two beautiful new condominiums. She sits on the Arlington Historic Commission and reviews all solar installation on historic properties in the town.

All of this experimentation led her to an interest in how we can do housing better. So a few developments later… here we are.

It was great working with a team that I trusted so much that I could leave the country and come back to a finished project!

Dan Strollo

Dan (LHS ‘88) has played various automotive and construction management roles over the last 30+ years. He’s had roles including vendor, employee, and board member management, as well as 6Sigma and other process improvement experiences. Dan has personally invested in Real Estate for over 20 years, with experiences in the suburbs, college communities, and Boston’s South End (also helping friends and family as a Real Estate Broker during those two decades).

Dan, a dedicated father of four, has played critical roles at Hastings Elementary School, including helping revive a fallen Halloween Event through negotiations with Lexington Fire Department. Dan has co-chaired Hastings PTA and Lexington Education Foundation fundraisers with record-breaking results. He’s been on Site Council for Hastings and Diamond and co-led the parent group for LHS College Bound families during a complicated pandemic application process. If you’re an LHS Basketball fan, you may have heard his attempts at color when he helped bring those games to families during the pandemic via LexMedia’s YouTube channel. And in a pre-pandemic world, you may have seen him grilling for entire baseball teams as he juggled as many as four games at once when all his kids were in Little League.

While best known for his efforts towards keeping a crowd laughing, Dan has a uniquely honest, communicative, and purposeful way of dealing with people. This has resulted in some strong relationships with tradesmen/women in the area who know that he can translate the needs of all parties involved, hold them accountable, and communicate things that others hesitate to share.
